Home has been sweet for Phils recently
After struggling early in the season, the team has heated up at Citizens Bank Park, having won 14 of their last 17 home games.
Just as Charlie Manuel and most of his players predicted, the relentless media probing about a most bizarre trend stopped. The Phillies made it go away by finally winning series at Citizens Bank Park, their house of horrors for three months this season.
From April through June, the Phillies won two home series, both against the awful Washington Nationals. And all of this ugliness occurred in front of mostly sellout crowds.
